as everyone knows its the anniversary of the terror attacks on the world trade center. nearly 3000 people died and the countless others who risked their lives to save others. everyone should never forget about 9/11 but our country just looks away when it comes to other problems in the world. look at the school takeover by terorists in Russia. kids were being being torchered and blown to fucking pieces and that story was "buried in the 8th page of the Boston Globe" We don't realize things like this until they hit home. I hope that people finally realize the magnatude of incidents like this and do their best to help.(Thank you Mr. Duffet).
pray for these people, whatever you wish, but just remember the coutless people who have been murdered, slaughtered for what? power, because of religion, nationality, the color of your skin?

i went to the skate park today with ryan greaves and calisi. it was fun,. i think i really am gonna get back into skateboarding and now actually try at it. it should be fun.

yesterday I had my first band practice with mark here and it was great. mark is awesome at screaming and tj rules too. in the song we made uphad tj and mark sing and it was perfect. mark went crazy it was so cool when he swung his mic then it wrapped around joe guitar so jo sang it was too funny i couldnt stop laughing. and now tht i have chris's drum kit and my basement is now almost clean we can play in my basement and we now have lots of room. and soon w will record the song. later

yesterday i went with Joe W. to go to the guitar center. after playing instruments and banjos for a while we started testing amps i liked for my birthday present. we tried alot of amp heads but once my mom came back with my brother i tried a 300 watt, $229. it was nice, no question loud enough and it had more than one channel it was easy to carry and more or less affordable. so i talked to my mom and she said fine for a like 6 month early present. now i need the cabinet which i am looking at a used one for $159, me and joe a gree a good deal and it is compatible with my amp head. so we get home open it and get it to my room then we go clean my basement. i want to turn it into a room to play in with a drumkit i want for christmas (morrison's old one. yeah and my mom said she thought she knew where my grandfathers old bas was from when he was in a jazz band. AND WE FOUD IT!. from the 1960's we think, vintage. and joe nd i are going to clean it up and fix it with help hopefully. i still can't believe we found it almost in perfect condition, no marks or scratches.
well im going to go play lacrosse, later

i just got back from florida with turner, well like 3 days or so. it was ssoooo much fun. we went to all the parks but the best was staying up at like 2-3 am in the lobby and watching some guy scream at a pizza guy like three feet infront of the coach we were on. then at islands of advanture, instead of buying a shirt or something i bought a real flail! for those of you who dont know what it is, the one i bought was most likely from medieval time used by knights and it is all real metal and shrp spikes. its a handle with a chain on it attached to a spiked metal ball, yeah. well now im going to guitar center with joe to get my 6 month early b-day presents.

today i had my first band practice with tj chris and joe. at first we all felt i guess a little "uncomofortable" but after an hour of nothing and being more acquianted with each other we started on a song and by the end of the practice after talking about giant squids, the lockness monster and ancient sharks, we just about finished the whole thing. chris will write lyrics but we have no idea for a name. suggestions? well im going to practice it, later

ohh man i just saw Fahrenheit 9/11 and it was the BEST movie ever. wow it was really sad and also at the same time funny as hell. that movie is a must see for every one. that movie was FANTASTIC. and from seeing that in, my opinion, i dont know how anyone could vote for Bush.

so yesterday i slept over ryans, it was really fun. after we treid shooting dave with the paintball guns we went on an expedition to find the beeffalo, yes and i do mean beeffalo. they are basically big cows with horns. so we decided to jump the electric fence and se how far we could go in before they charged us or the guy came out. well me and dave went like al the way to this barn about 100 feet away, the beeffalo like came so close to us like you could touch them but didnt charge us but some were pretty aggravated with our presence. so then we see the dog come running out barking at us so we run and jump over the the like four foot high fence tripping over it as the guy comes out. so we wait in thw woods until he gets close so we throw a rock near him to get his attention and it lands next to him so he goes to the shed to get something that resembled a gun so we ran to ryans house. we also found other stuff that was really sick. so we didnt go to bed after that and just played with a strobe light and yeah.
it was a good time.

this entry is quite different from the last one, but ive done some thinking, i want to know what other people live for. i know it may sound odd to some people but i really want to know because for me its weird, i really dont like this world we live in, i mean some things are great but so many things are not, theres so many ignorant people out there and so many people that just make me feel so bad about everything. i mean to most people this isnt a big deal it isnt happening to us right? But it is to me, i cant live without atleast trying to make a difference. i know im only 14 i cant do that much but i mean it feels so weird to me just me sitting here living in westford driving a BMW while there is people suffering from poverty and hunger. and how the treatment of animals is soo bad, how people can be so ignorant of people of a different race, sexual preferance, nationality, religion, etc. it just makes me think what is life when the world you live in is so mest up, and live where you know that it can change but the few people who try to make a difference, make the world a better place almost always never succeed and are ridiculed by many for trying to make the world a better place.
im just saying how i feel and it just makes me think alot. its hard because theres not many people i can talk to about this, not many feel the same as i do. i just want to hear some other peoples takes on this topic and i want to know what others think, so please comment

today i went to the mall and i got some cd's one of which was Liberation all songs benefiting the P.E.T.A (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals)and you know on July 30, 2002 Ted Nugent was detained by police for assaulting an anti-fur activist and despite what bystanders said the police wouldnt listen to their accusations that he grabbed, spit on, and threatened 21 year old Bhaskar Sinha. he did this when anti fur activists were protesting sale at Neiman Marcus in Union Square and they offered him a leaflet, he then spat on one and then later attacked Sinha. wow i hate ted nugent. i think eating meat is immoral but its kind of hard to change things that have been so for millions of years, but if i hear "i'd be vegetarian but i like meat too much" one more time i will flip. i fucking liked meat too but i did what i thought was right. my dislike of ted nugent is only an opinon.

ok i called rory today and im really happy because we are back to friends now and at first i felt stupid calling after breaking up with her on her vacation but now that we are back to being friends and are now not mad at each other i am sooo glad, this is great im glad it turned out for the better

well its over. im not going out with rory any more it was great while it lasted, but the thing is when we both agreed tostop going out she started to get mad and i just want her to know that i just want this to end and i want to stay friends, i dont want to fight and i will always care about you. i know even if your mad at me which you seemed to be i just want to be firends and i hope this will all end.

today me and joe w. decided ro make a flamethrower ( it didnt work because mosquitos suck) we went into someoen back yard and they came after us wiht their dog joe ran and i was left to fend for myself and tried to talk to it but it just growled and then the lady came but i made up and excuse and we left and so we just burnt stuff in the woods

last night i went to the thrice ,dashboard confessinal, get up kids! concert there was no question that the get up kids were the best, i just wish they played more songs. although some kids thought it would be "cool" to start a mosh pit thing during the get up kids, but it wasnt. so some body hit another kid who ran into me and everyone was just acting like assholes and then i was pushed into whatever the hell it was and i was like "wow this is cool". then thirce played and they were good and yeah there was a mosh pit but it was stupid i cant say if seen many but it was stupid. o yeah and the opening band head on something wasnt good and tom has to see them again, haha.then there was dashboard, no comment, i mean not as bad as i thought me and joe just joked around the whole time and when vinidcated came on we all sang along and toms favorite word that whole day was no question vindicated, he didnt know what it meant so we could make it be whatever we wanted. after saying goodbye to some of tom's friends anthony, tom, me, and joe wne to breakfast? at a diner it was sick then the car ride home was soo funny. anthony was on the cell phone for some time so tom turned up the music so loud then decided we would all sing a song so tom yelled and i made a drum beat and joe was bake up singer then when anthony finally got off tom goes "sorry" and anthony turns up the music jumps on tom while he was driving and then he jumped in the trunk and comes back upside down and tom says "matt stick your finger up his butt" and i started to crack up then a car started following us so anthony opens the window and like almost jumps out of the car so the car right on our tail turns off it head lights and turns on blinking light under the hood the simultainius ones that cops have and he turned them off really quikly after and left, but tom may know who it was and you can buy those lights illegaly. so that was what i did last night it was really funny,and the concert was great. and singing to 10 minutes was the best part.

today was sick. i went out to the stongas arena to get the thrice, dashboard, and get up kids concert which is on this sunday. so it wil be great,(im going with tom and joe keneally). then when i got home ryan greaves told me to im this kid who had to be one of the most nationalistic, ignorant, close minded people ever. he seemed to think people living outside of our american borders are not equal to us. he said he did not believe in any of the beliefs of nazism but he seemed to think all american people were better than other people from different countries, sounds like nazism to me, then he said that religion was great, i personally think god was created by people who couldnt cope with the fact of death, but thats only an opinion, so i dont want to start something with somebody. he also didnt seem to understand what jihad meant or what happened during the crusades or spanish inquisition. the funny thing is im 14 and he is 16 and i still beat him really bad in the argument according to ryan. but i really dont like to get in "fights" but more or less debates so i ended it peacefully and now i know no one is coming to kill me tonight, haha. so i guess today was pretty productive and i cant wait for the concert this sunday!

so far summers been fun, i guess all ive been doing today is yardwork. i just had an invitational lacrosse tournament, we won 2 games and lost 2, it was really fun. skateboarding always great and when its bad weather ill play bass so i mean its not bad accept when my friends are gone it will be quite boring. especially you rory when your gone i will miss you more than you'll know
